Yesterday, at TC50 Google's VP Marissa Mayer presented Google's hot new product, previously known as Flipper, now known as Google Fast Flip. Fast Flip is a visual way to display articles presented by Google News. If you like one of the articles that you see, you can then click the "like" button, and it will use a similar functionality to FriendFeed and Facebook.

As with any Google product, there is also the Search capability, as well as an easy email functionality to send the article to anyone you please. And there is an iPhone-optimized interface, as well.

Although it still seems that they weren't 100% ready for the launch, as it still shows in their Google Labs, http://fastflip.googlelabs.com/, and has the Google Confidential logo at the bottom.
